ABOUT ME
JACK COWGER
As a life-long athlete, I have competed at a high level in football, track and field, and powerlifting. I continued my passion for sports performance by becoming an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer, where I have been in the industry for the past 3 years. My own health was not always a priority, however. Once I stopped competing in football in 2018, I weighed upwards of 350 pounds.

I received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2022. My undergraduate thesis, titled, "Psychological Factors Creating Successful Long-term Weight Loss in Obese Adults" was not only well-developed, but put into practice.
​
I have lost over 130 pounds in the past year and a half. I hope my knowledge and experiences can not only inspire others, but guide them to achieve any health and fitness goals they have!
